Ubisoft tries to make amends
Last week brought the news that Ubisoft’s Rayman Legends is no longer a Wii U exclusive and that it has a new September release date: six months after it’s planned February 26th launch. The reason for the delay, it seems, is to ensure that Rayman Legends will be launched on the same day for all three current generation platforms.
Understandably, the announcement wasn’t well received by many Nintendo gamers who couldn’t understand why Ubisoft had to stall the Wii U’s version release which, by known accounts, is ready to be shipped. This discomfort was voiced through social networks, forums and blogs, and by the looks of it the French publisher was listening.
Reaching to fans directly through its Facebook page, Ubisoft posted on friday:
“Thanks for all your feedback regarding Rayman Legends in all of its forms. We have heard you and we will continue to listen. We understand your frustration and that you want to get your hands on the game.
“We are working with the development team to provide you with a new, exclusive demo for the Wii U soon. Stay tuned for more.“
So there you have it, there will be a new Rayman Legend’s demo coming exclusively to the Wii U. What do you think? Is it enough or Ubisoft fell short with this gesture? Hit the comment section and let us now!
